Primary sales:—This is the sale which is considered when a company sells goods to the distributor of your area

Secondary sales:–This is the sale which is considered when your distributor sells goods to the retailer.

Your target will be a mix of primary and secondary sales.

POB:–Personal Order Booking. Order which you take personally from retailer.

Stock statement:–statement which you take per week to track your stock.This statement contains stocks which are lying at your distributor

sales statement:-This is the statement which gives the names of retailers where goods has been distributed

KDP:–Key detailed product.These are the main product which contribute majorly to your sales.

FOC:—Free of cost goods

OEM:–Original Equipment manufacturer.

Inventory:–Stock

Liquidation :–sales

80:20 rule:–Remember only 20% of your customers will give 80% of your business

PTS:–Price to stockist

PTR:–price to retailer
